Fixing Chat Settings while logged on Chat.In the Righthand Column, Click on the 4th Option Setup.
On the initial Screen, Assign the correct Output and Input Devices on the right hand side.
Assigning a HotKey:On the left hand side, keep the first 3 boxes Checked.
Then near Hotkey, assign the button you'd like to press when you'd like
to speak on Vent.
Automatic Talking without a HotkeyThere are seperate functions that will let you speak without having to press
a key as well. I don't know these settings all that well since I use a Hotkey myself.
But I played around with it a bit since Burt doesn't like pressing the Hotkey.
And setting up your Setup like this seems to somewhat do the trick.
This system doesn't work all that well and requires you speak very loud in the microphone.
If anyone can find a better way for this, be my guest.
Click OK and these new values are saved.
Those are the most important settings to get Vent working properly for you.
Take a look at your own convenience all the sections in Setup there,
and Adjusts properties to your Preference.
